They were the centerpieces at a festival we were at recently, and I thought they would be perfect for a rustic wedding.
The festival was at a park, and we actually had our rehearsal dinner at a park, so a park is super special wedding location (to me anyway).
For a park, you want some nice decor but also stuff that can hold up to the outdoor elements. Wind, rain, sun ... it all needs to be taken into account when you're planning your decor.
That's why these centerpieces are great. They're inexpensive and work well for the outdoors.
Simple Rustic Floral Wedding Centerpieces
What You'll Need:
- Flowers
- Flower vase
- Burlap table runner
- Gingham tablecloth
- Scissors
What You'll Do:
Lay the gingham tablecloth out on the table.
Measure the burlap table runner the length of the table, plus a bit of overhang on both sides, and cut it.
Fill the flower vase with water, then add the bouquet.
That's it.
If gingham is a little too picnic-y for your style, you can choose a solid color tablecloth instead. I highly suggest you sticking with vinyl or plastic disposable ones, though, so you can just toss them after the reception.
