Bachelorette Party Favor Ideas

Bachelorette parties are often filled with what I would call inappropriate items. I mean, sure, objects shaped like the male anatomy is appropriate for a bachelorette party (and a bio class), but I think any sort of mementos from the party need to be free of that. You can't display a shot glass with a guy's hooha on it for all time, but a koozie with some text is fine. So my bachelorette party favor ideas are all appropriate ... for after the party as well.

Bridesmaid aka Drunk Friend Mug
The majority (if not all) of your bachelorette party guests will be your bridal party, so now is a good time to get them a gift that says bridesmaid. But add some fun into it. I'm crying laughing at the idea of this Bridesmaid aka Drunk Friend mug because who is gonna be the sober sister at your bachelorette? Not your  bridesmaids. Well, unless your bridesmaid is me because I don't drink. So get this for everyone else and get a Bridesmaid aka Sober Sister mug for this girl.

Bachelorette Party Bracelets
How will you know who is who at your bachelorette party? Well, you will know. But for your guests, they might not know each other. Help them out with these bachelorette party bracelets. These come in a pack of eight with the following sayings: Wild One, Bride To Be, Hot Mess, Princess, Sexy & Single, Ms. Tease, Virgin (maybe) and Rock Star. Half the fun will be watching your guests choose which one they are.

Bachelorette Party Buttons
Bracelets not your thing? No worries. How about these bachelorette party buttons instead? You can pick up a set of eight with the following sayings: lucky, sexy, bad girl, frisky, flirt, vamp, too hot, and wild.

Bridesmaid Drinking Glass
There's a good chance your bachelorette party will involve some drinking. And when you're drinking, there's a chance you will misplace your glass or forget which is yours. This eliminates that problem. You can personalize this bridesmaid drinking glass (for free).

Wedding Ring Shot Glasses
The phrase "buy me a shot, I'm tying the knot" comes to mind when I see these wedding ring shot glasses. These actually will hold 1oz. of liquid, but you're gonna want to drink it immediately. It doesn't seal fully (those it does lock closed) so your drink may spill. They work good for Jell-O shots too, if you're into that.

Purchase here.

Personalized Plastic Champagne Flutes
These personalized plastic champagne flutes are adorable. And I just love how some bubbly looks in them. They do come in a pack of 50, which is a little much for me, but if you're having a girls weekend, you will definitely go through them all (and a few bottles of champagne, especially if you're waking up with mimosas).

Bachelorette Party Koozies
I love koozies. We use them all the time in North Carolina, so I really wanted to get them for our wedding. We gave out so much, though, so the koozies wouldn't have stood out. That's why they are perfect for a bachelorette party. You can choose from a ton of colors, but I think pink and black with gold lettering is perfect.

Bachelorette Party Sunglasses
If you're having a destination bachelorette party, you need two things: first, you need to invite me, second, you need to pick these bachelorette party sunglasses up for your guests. You can also get a white version that says "Team Bride" on them.

I love tumblers. We use ours year round. So I know for sure that your guests will love these bachelorette party tumblers. Trust me.

DIY Bachelorette Party Drink Spinner

This DIY Bachelorette Party Drink Spinner shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #NeverTooHungover #CollectiveBias

Messaging below is intended for ages 21+ and is intended to be enjoyed responsibly, in moderation.

We live in a town where bachelorette parties come to be. I've never seen so many in my life. Every time we go out, there are at least two women in makeshift veils with a gaggle of women around her.

And I always say, "Aww, there's a bride," with more sincerity than most of the other things I probably say that night.

I love brides-to-be, their happiness and smiles and anticipation. I also love that bachelorette parties are their excuse to stop wedding planning, stop stressing, and start having a good time.

I'll be honest: Most of the bachelorette parties we bump into happen at bars. Which is fun, especially if you bring our bachelorette party spinner with you.. It's meant to be completely fun, and, we are encouraging you to enjoy the spinner and any bachelorette parties responsibly and in moderation.

DIY Bachelorette Party Drink Spinner

The bachelorette party drink spinner is a really fun and one of the easier bachelorette party games to make.

Whatever drink you land on is what you should buy for the bride. And, of course, the bride can always say no or opt for water or soda instead. Have fun with this, and at the party, but it's important that you are responsible. And, if you are drinking, be sure to have a designated driver or arrange a taxi.

What You'll Need:

What You'll Do:

msg 4 21+: Planning a bachelorette party? Make it even more fun with games! Get a free printable for this bachelorette party spinner from www.abrideonabudget.com. #NeverTooHungover

Use the paper trimmer to cut out the spinner and scissors for the arrow. The spinner is 4x4, which will perfectly fit into your back pocket (I tried!).

msg 4 21+: Planning a bachelorette party? Make it even more fun with games! Get a free printable for this bachelorette party spinner from www.abrideonabudget.com. #NeverTooHungover

Cut two sheets of contact paper that are approximately 5x5. Peel back one sheet and affix your spinner in the center. Peel back the paper on the second sheet and affix it over the spinner. Cut the edges with your paper trimmer.

Follow the same method to laminate the arrow as well.

msg 4 21+: Planning a bachelorette party? Make it even more fun with games! Get a free printable for this bachelorette party spinner from www.abrideonabudget.com. #NeverTooHungover

Cut a small slit in the arrow and the center of the spinner. Then, widen the slit in the spinner to a circle. If it's just a slit, it won't actually spin. It needs enough room for the paper fastener to move.

Put the paper fastener through the slit in the arrow, then through the spinner. Then, flatten the pieces of it to the back of the spinner.

Take it out with you and spin. The bachelorette party drink spinner is laminated, so don't worry if something spills on it. Just wipe it off and keep playing. And laminating it makes it pretty durable, so you can save it for the next friend's bachelorette party.

Bachelorette parties are turning from one night out into more of a weekend celebration, which means that heading to work Monday morning can be hard. That's why it's actually a good idea for your maid of honor to pick up Never Too Hungover Prevention or Never Too Hungover Boost for the bridesmaids. The 3.4oz bottle is recommended for up to 7 drinks. If you are planning on drinking more than seven, two bottles of Never Too Hungover are recommended.

msg 4 21+: Planning a bachelorette party? Make it even more fun with games! Get a free printable for this bachelorette party spinner from www.abrideonabudget.com. #NeverTooHungover

You can get Never Too Hungover Prevention (with a limeade taste) or Never Too Hungover Boost (with a berry taste). You need to drink it before/while drinking to help prevent the negative effects of a hangover, so give them to each bridesmaid before the night starts. You can give one to the designated driver too because Never Too Hungover is also good for an energy boost, even without alcohol!

Never Too Hungover, if you've never heard of it, is a healthy vitamin blend that helps neutralize toxins, restore vital nutrients, and rehydrate the body. Sounds like something good to pair with a night of drinking.

5 At-Home Bachelorette Party Ideas (that don't involve strippers)

Some of the best nights Pete and I have are the ones where we just stay home. It's the company, not the venue, that makes for some of the best memories.

If you agree, an at-home bachelorette party is for you. Have all the bridesmaids and the bride's best girl friends over to one house and throw a great party. And you don't even need to hire a stripper. There are a ton of other great ideas that are even more fun than sipping drinks from penis straws.

Would you rather stay in and have your bachelorette party at home? Get 5 At-Home Bachelorette Party ideas from www.abrideonabudget.com.

5 At-Home Bachelorette Party Ideas (that don't involve strippers)

Fortune Teller
What do the cards hold for the bride and groom? Will they have a huge house with a white picket fence? Will they move to a foreign country? Have kids? Live happily ever after? Okay, that last one is one everyone can figure out, but those other ones, you may need a fortune teller to fill in all the details. Hire one and have her come over, read palms and tarot cards, and just give the guests a bit of insight into their futures.

I'm gonna be honest: This would be so much fun, even for the most skeptical of brides. And it's a great group activity because in the future, when the bride is thinking about something or an event happens that the fortune teller brought up, it turns into a big inside joke/shared memory between all the guests.

Casino Night
My family loves playing card games when we're together. We all sit around the table and play for hours. Of course, we play for money, but you could also play for fun. You could set up a poker table, one for dice games, or heck, even Left Right Center (which is super fun and easy for everyone to understand).

If you're playing poker, you could say everyone needs to bring a bottle of wine as a buy in. Then, gift all the wine to the bride (and maybe let the winner take a bottle home).

Wine Tasting
Don't feel like playing for wine? I get it. Why not have a wine tasting instead? You can have each guest bring a bottle of wine to sample. You should definitely order fun personalized wine glasses too. And don't forget about the cheese, crackers, and grapes too. No wine tasting is completely without those.

Make it even more fun and turn it into an arts and crafts night. Pick up wooden coasters and paint or washi tape to decorate them.

Paint Night
Have you heard of paint nights? They're so much fun. The canvas and paints are supplied, and you can usually bring (or buy) beverages. Wouldn't it be fun to do it at home? Purchase one canvas per guest, a few paints and brushes, and maybe smocks, just to get in the mood.

You can have one guest lead the painting, and you can all paint the same one like they do at paint nights, or you can just let everyone have a free for all.

Masseuses
When I was wedding planning, I just wanted to relax. I kept thinking of Pete and I having a spa day, but we just ran out of time. Your bride probably doesn't have time either, so bring the spa to her. Have everyone wear personalized robes, hire masseuses to come to give massages, and then end the night with clay masks and cucumbers over your eyes.

If I was getting married right now, that would be my choice. Heck, just from running a wedding blog I think I should have a spa night at home!

Best Bridal Sashes For The Bride-To-Be

A Bride On A Budget was provided one of these sashes for review. All thoughts are my own.

A while ago, someone asked me for budget-friendly home style bachelorette party ideas. I thought of a pot luck (where everyone brings an app, cocktail, etc.), followed by going to a comedy club.

I didn't, however, mention my friend's "bachelorette party," which involved doing errands all over town (getting our nails done, our eyebrows done, passing alpacas on the street), all while she wore a bridal sash.

Oh the awesome, yet sometimes dreaded, bridal sash. Personally, I think they're awesome ... but maybe that's because I've never actually been the one forced to wear it all day long.

If you're getting married, get ready for the sash. And if you're planning a bachelorette party, this is a great list for you.

Part of the fun of a bachelorette party is getting your bride to wear a bride-to-be sash. Check out the list put together here by www.abrideonabudget.com.

Best Bridal Sashes For The Bride-To-Be

  1. Lace Bachelorette Sash
  2. Bride-To-Be Sash
  3. Personalized Bridal Sash
  4. Champagne Bride-To Be-Bachelorette Party Sash
  5. Super Glam Rhinestone Sash
Part of the fun of a bachelorette party is getting your bride to wear a bride-to-be sash. Check out the list put together here by www.abrideonabudget.com.
Lace Bachelorette Sash
This lace bachelorette sash is my favorite, which is why I'm kicking this post off with it. It's a pretty lace, which means it won't take away from the dress the bride is wearing that night. Plus, with it being lace, it just looks fancier than any other bridal sash. And if your bride is sort of fancy, and planning on wearing a fancy dress, this is perfect.

You can pick it up in white, black, or pink (if you choose the latter two, the letters are silver, not black).

Purchase here.

Bride-To-Be Sash
How cute is this bride-to-be sash? It's pretty sweet and understated, in case your bride doesn't really want to stand out while she's wearing this. But, it's not too plain either. It has an engagement ring embroidered on it, making it a little more special.

Unlike most of the sashes that are one-size fits all, this one actually is fastened with Velcro. That way, you can actually adjust the length and make sure it fits your bride-to-be.

Purchase here.

Personalized Bridal Sash
I didn't actually change my last name. I've had this one for so long, so I just kept it. I actually have a ton of friends who did the same, so maybe our generation is completely balking at this. But, if your bride is changing her name, this personalized bridal sash is for her.

You can personalize this with up to 20 letters, which means you have some room to be creative.

Purchase here.

Champagne Bride-To-Be Bachelorette Party Sash
I really like this champagne bride-to-be bachelorette party sash. It's just so pretty and feminine. And the champagne color is just gorgeous. It's such a break from the normal white, pink, and black that these often come in. And the font on this is just super pretty too. It doesn't look cheap or cheesy, which perfect for any bride.

Purchase here.

Part of the fun of a bachelorette party is getting your bride to wear a bride-to-be sash. Check out the list put together here by www.abrideonabudget.com.
Super Glam Rhinestone Sash
Aside from the color, I like the Super Glam Rhinestone Sash a lot. The rhinestones are affixed very well to the sash, which means your sash should still say "Bride To Be" after a night of bachelorette debauchery.

The sash is made of a slippery material (I want to guess some sort of poly-blend) but it doesn't slide. When you put it on, it stays put. It's not going to twist and turn, hiding the B on your shoulder so this reads "Ride To Be" by the end of the night (since that is absolutely not what you're going for). So it's good to know this will stay put.

Purchase here.

This is something that you can pass along from girlfriend to girlfriend and the sash will definitely hold up. Just don't wash it in a machine. Spot clean only works for them. And don't iron on the side with the rhinestones. Use low heat on the backside to help the sash's longevity.

At-Home Bachelorette Party Shopping List

Bachelorette parties can be wild weekends out ... but they don't have to be. Sometimes, they can be wine and cheese nights at home with friends.

And if that's the way you're leaning, you'll want to pick up some items to make the day special. I put together a great at-home bachelorette party shopping list for you. You can print it out and take it to a store or you can just shop online with our suggestions below.

Planning a bachelorette party? Be sure to take our At-Home Bachelorette Party Shopping List from www.abrideonabudget.com.

At-Home Bachelorette Party Shopping List

Planning a bachelorette party? Be sure to take our At-Home Bachelorette Party Shopping List from www.abrideonabudget.com.
Napkins
These bachelorette party napkins are the first of the disposable products on this list. Now, if you know me, you know I never use disposable products in our home -- unless we are having a party. I hate trash, but I hate washing dishes after a dozen people even more. So for your at-home bachelorette party, disposable is the way to go.

Purchase here.

Planning a bachelorette party? Be sure to take our At-Home Bachelorette Party Shopping List from www.abrideonabudget.com.
Cups
Disposable cups will be your friend, too. Go with hot pink cups because nothing says bachelorette party more than hot pink and black.

Purchase here.

Planning a bachelorette party? Be sure to take our At-Home Bachelorette Party Shopping List from www.abrideonabudget.com.
Plates
And go with matching plates ... because it's so much easier for you to toss out plates at the end of the night than try and load a dishwasher.

Purchase here.

Planning a bachelorette party? Be sure to take our At-Home Bachelorette Party Shopping List from www.abrideonabudget.com.
Utensils
Add magenta plastic utensils to your cart as well. Honestly, I had no idea how much I loved plastic utensils until we started having a lot of company every weekend. It's a big party must.

Purchase here.

Planning a bachelorette party? Be sure to take our At-Home Bachelorette Party Shopping List from www.abrideonabudget.com.
Wine Glasses
I guess you could go with plastic wine glasses, but I think it's more fun to get personalized wine glasses. They're a great memento of the night and people will actually save them and reuse the glasses.

Purchase here.

Planning a bachelorette party? Be sure to take our At-Home Bachelorette Party Shopping List from www.abrideonabudget.com.
Wine Charms
The trouble with personalized wine glasses is they're all personalized the same. And they're generally stemless, so you can't add traditional wine charms. Oh, but you can add these wine charms. They're bachelorette party perfect.

Purchase here.

Planning a bachelorette party? Be sure to take our At-Home Bachelorette Party Shopping List from www.abrideonabudget.com.
Bride's Cup
The bride doesn't need a wine charm ... because she gets her own bride's cup. The brighter and blingier, the better. Just be sure her cup is never empty!

Purchase here.

Planning a bachelorette party? Be sure to take our At-Home Bachelorette Party Shopping List from www.abrideonabudget.com.
Bride's Sash
What's a bacelorette party without a bride's sash? Even if you're staying home, she should still wear one. It's a fun experience she'll only get once.

Purchase here.

Planning a bachelorette party? Be sure to take our At-Home Bachelorette Party Shopping List from www.abrideonabudget.com.
Miss To Mrs. Banner
Part of the fun of getting married is changing from a Miss to a Mrs. (or, in my case, a Ms. since I didn't change my last name). So of course, your bachelorette party decor should have a Miss To Mrs. banner incorporated. With so many styles to choose from, you can definitely find one to fit your theme.

Purchase here.

Planning a bachelorette party? Be sure to take our At-Home Bachelorette Party Shopping List from www.abrideonabudget.com.
Confetti
I love confetti. I won't say I love cleaning it up, but I sure love how it looks on a table. It's just so festive and fun ... and usually so shiny. As long as you have a handheld vacuum available, definitely get some bachelorette party confetti.

Purchase here.

Planning a bachelorette party? Be sure to take our At-Home Bachelorette Party Shopping List from www.abrideonabudget.com.
Team Bride Shirts
If Pete and I are ready to leave the house and we're matching, one of us will change. But if a bridal party is wearing matching Team Bride shirts, I think it's so fun. You shouldn't miss that opportunity, even if you're just having an at-home bachelorette party.

Purchase here.

Planning a bachelorette party? Be sure to take our At-Home Bachelorette Party Shopping List from www.abrideonabudget.com.
Bride Shirt
And don't forget about the bride. Grab her a bride shirt that matches, but is a little unique so she fits it -- but also stands out -- and her party.

Purchase here.

Planning a bachelorette party? Be sure to take our At-Home Bachelorette Party Shopping List from www.abrideonabudget.com.
Guest Book
You want to remember the night even if you can't, well, remember the night. A guest book will help with that. You can go with a picture frame, an actual book, a canvas print, whatever you think is the most fun.

Purchase here.

Planning a bachelorette party? Be sure to take our At-Home Bachelorette Party Shopping List from www.abrideonabudget.com.
Photo Props
Photo booths are so popular right now. You can easily make your own. Just find a blank wall and pick up some photo props. Take photos with a camera or your cell phone and be sure to tag them with a fun bachelorette party hashtag.

Purchase here.

Games
Bachelorette party games can be pretty risque, but you can also find some that are a bit more tame. Just go with what you think the bride will be comfortable playing. You don't want her to feel awkward at her own party.

5 Bachelorette Party Ideas (That Don't Include Chippendales)

Last weekend, we went out to see The Spill Canvas, a band that has been in my top six bands of all time for the last decade, open for Motion City Soundtrack, who was on tour to celebrate the 10-year-anniversary of its breakout album, Commit This To Memory.

Last year, to celebrate my birthday, Pete and I went to see Yellowcard on a similar 10-year-anniversary tour. And not too long before that, I saw Fall Out Boy -- not on a 10-year-anniversary tour, but FOB is in my top six bands. In May, Pete and I went to see Brand New, a band that has changed my life during the last 14 years, and, if all goes well, I'll see New Found Glory in a couple months, checking off five of my top six bands (for the last decade) in a span of about a year.

The only band I haven't seen is The Starting Line, which is my absolute favorite band of all time. So much so that once upon a time, I said that I don't want a bachelorette party filled with drunk antics because I don't drink. At all. What I wanted was to see The Starting Line. I said I didn't care when, exactly, during my engagement this happened, but I wanted to go with my favorite gals to see my favorite band. That's it.

The Starting Line went on long-term hiatus in 2008, but reunites every year for an annual holiday show every December. I was engaged for two Decembers (in 2012 and 2013), so how I didn't have a bachelorette party at any of those shows is a mystery to me. But, truth be told, I didn't have a bachelorette party. It just didn't work out, despite my bridesmaids and maid of honor really wanting to make it work. But just because I didn't have one doesn't mean I don't know a thing or two about them.

If you're planning a bachelorette party, and you're looking for something other than some drinks and strippers, you're in luck. I have five non-traditional bachelorette party ideas (no Chippendales or penis pops here -- real quick, that link is not safe for work; it leads to penis pops, in case you're into those).

5 Bachelorette Party Ideas (That Don't Include Chippedales)

1. Spa Day
Planning a wedding can be stressful, really stressful. Sometimes, all a bride wants to do is sit down and forget about it for a while. What better way to do that than with a massage, a foot rub, and a pedicure. It's a great way to unwind.

The spa that we go to in town serves a really delicious tea while you're waiting. If your local spa doesn't do that, you might want to call and see if you can arrange to bring in your own calming beverages (chamomile tea, mimosas, whatever the spa will allow). When you're calling to book, be sure to let them know you are bringing in a bachelorette party. Some spas might not be so apt to the idea because they are meant to be tranquil and serene and bachelorette parties may not be.

Favor idea: Spa robes and pedicure slippers would be perfect for this outing.

2. Gambling Trip
Personally, I love gambling. It's in my blood. I wanted so badly to go to Vegas for my bachelorette party, but it was too much to ask all my bridesmaids to travel to Vegas for my party and travel to North Carolina for my wedding. I just felt so guilty over the idea of asking them that I wouldn't even have it.

If you are having a local wedding (so all your bridesmaids aren't traveling to it like mine were), book a weekend in Vegas or Atlantic City. Most casinos have really good restaurants and clubs too, if you need a little break from the slots.

Favor idea: Casino chip key chains would be a fun reminder of your trip.

3. Beach Road Trip
I love the beach (although, this summer, all the beaches by us have had shark attacks -- seriously -- so I've been skipping it this year and using the pool instead). How fun would a road trip to the beach with a car packed with your best gal pals be? Pack a beach blanket, a cooler filled with drinks and snacks (personally, I like to pack frozen edamame and when it's time to snack, it's defrosted), and enjoy the sunshine.

Most beach towns have boardwalks with bathing suit-friendly restaurants (with bars) too, so you can grab a bite to eat too. Plus, what bridal party wouldn't like a little extra sunshine before the wedding?

Favor idea: Bikini bags (You put your wet bathing suit in them and the water stays inside so the rest of your bag's contents stay dry. They're a must have!).

4. Comedy Club
Everyone likes to laugh, so what better place to do it than a comedy club? I've been to a bunch of them and they're always a good time. Some of them have cover charges and a two-drink minimum, so be sure to let party goers know about that ahead of time. If you have a guest who doesn't drink, she can always order something and pass it along to the bride.

Just be aware if you do head to one of these adorned with bridal party shirts and sashes, there's a good chance the comic will heckle you a little.

Favor idea: Groucho Marx glasses (these would make for a fun photo) or Mad Libs.

5. Baseball Game
My cousin and I accidentally crashed a bachelor party that rented out a suite. It was so much fun so we stayed a while, ate their food, and watched the game ... until they realized we were just party crashers who wandered in and then we left. The party was such a good time that I really think it's great for bachelorettes too. Baseball is a long game (those nine innings can go on forever sometimes), but that gives you a lot of time to eat, hang out, and just enjoy the party. If baseball isn't your thing, any other sporting event will work too.

Favor idea: Baseball hats for the team you're rooting for.

A Bride On A Budget received these canvas prints for review. All additional materials were purchased by ABOAB. All thoughts and opinions belong to ABOAB. This is a fictional bachelorette party. None of the people photographed were in Savannah on March 7 to 9 for this party. Any similarities are pure coincidence.

I'm not crazy about traditional guest books. For one thing, they remind me of the sign in books at funerals. Plus, you can't add too much personality to them. Your guests could draw photos where they sign their names, but that's about it.

Then, when your party is over, you take the book and leave it on a shelf to collect dust. You don't display it and enjoy it. You also can't decorate it and make it your own. If you want something to display, think about Canvas Kudos, a company we got to check out.

Canvas Kudos has a ton of canvas prints to choose from. Of course, there are wedding prints, but you can even find ones for birthdays, new babies, graduations, and more. Any occasion you can think of, you can find a print for.

I was looking at Canvas Kudos and fell in love with two of the prints: floating flutes and wedding bike.

Each of the canvas prints arrives with a permanent ink marker and hardware to hang the canvas when you're done.

The concept is simple. Display this at your party with a marker, have your guests sign. Easy. And don't worry, that "Write on me!" text isn't actually on your board. It's on the plastic wrapping that covers the board. The plastic is a great way to ensure that your board won't get dirty before your event.

I didn't want to just leave the canvas plain, though, so I rounded up a few arts and crafts supplies.

I grabbed stuff that I already had around the house: bachelorette party ribbon that was gifted to me, a paint brush, glitter, Mod Podge, and photos.

You probably have all this stuff in your craft drawer at home.

I made sure to arrange everything the way I wanted it.

And then I used Mod Podge to hold it all down. That stuff is amazing, by the way. Use it as glue on the back of your photos and ribbon, and then coat them on top as well.

Like, completely on top. But don't worry. It dries clear. It's just a way to seal down your photos and make sure they don't pop up at the corners.

Now, I would say be as careful as possible with it and try not to cover the entire board in Mod Podge, but it's okay. You can write on top of it with a permanent ink marker with ease.

I was planning on adding glitter to it but it started to get a little busy for me so I left it off.

After it's decorated, have your guests sign on the board with permanent ink markers.

What's great about technology is you can actually take photos at something like a bachelorette party, upload them from your phone to a drugstore, then pick them up less than an hour later. You can create your canvas and have it ready for your guests to sign (maybe on day two of the bachelorette party). If you do that, you can save room for photos of the rest of the weekend.

If you're using this for a wedding, you could either use photos of you and your groom from the past (or your engagement photos), or you can ask your guests to sign in the center and you can decorate it with wedding photos later.
