No kids, so I've been living in a a Frozen-free zone.
I know the girls are Anna and Elsa and one of them wants to build a snowman. Small aside: Do they build a snowman? Anyone know? Because I don't. I also don't know if anyone actually finds Nemo in Finding Nemo because I fell asleep before the ending and never decided to finish it.
These are questions I probably need answered before we decide to have children. But the question I need answered right now is: Would you want to wear a Frozen-themed wedding dress?

Disney Weddings is pairing with designer Alfred Angelo to create a Frozen wedding dress as part of the 2015 Disney Fairy Tale Weddings by Alfred Angelo collection.
Now, before you hit pause on this idea because it sounds a little extreme, this collaboration isn't being started just for Frozen. The 2014 collection has dresses with a style for all your favorite princesses: Cinderella, Jasmine, Snow White, Tiana, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, Rapunzel, and Belle. I'm in love with this Cinderella dress, which looks nothing like the blue dress I remember her wearing in the movie.
The rumor is the Frozen wedding gown will actually be blue, which is something I'm not completely a fan of. I love white dresses, can accept ivory dresses, and wouldn't try on anything colored. I did see a bride-to-be fall in love with a green Vera Wang dress while I was dress shopping, so it's definitely a style for some people. I'm just not that person.
The Disney wedding dresses on the site run between $999 and $1,399, which is a lot less than some of the boutiques I went into when I was dress shopping. The James Clifford that I originally liked was $2,700 if I bought the sample. So these Disney bridal gowns are pretty reasonable. Plus, you can pair them with the Disney Princess engagement rings everyone was gaga over not too long ago.
BRIDAL BABBLE: Would you wear a blue wedding dress?
Yes. They build a snowman and Elsa eventually makes him come to life and his name is Olaf :P
ReplyDeleteand also yes they find Nemo :D
The sketch of the dress looks really pretty. I wouldn't mind wearing a blue dress if it goes with your colors/theme for the wedding. I looked at the collection and they are all so beautiful, I couldn't pick a favorite.
ReplyDeleteI have no kids but I've seen Frozen. Fun movie. No I wouldn't wear a blue wedding dress

I took a look at the dresses, and they are so gorgeous and I would wear a theme from Disney. The Cinderella dress is my favorite. I think Alfred Angelo design very nice wedding dresses!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind wearing a colored dress as long as it wasn't too vibrant and in your face.
ReplyDeleteI still have yet to see the movie but my daughter does love the song : ) I think if I weren't so dead set on a blush gown that I would consider blue! I wonder if the color of this gown will be succinct to the shade depicted in the movie; that will definitely be a sight to see!

ReplyDeleteI am really looking forward to seeing finished pictures of the Elsa dress! It's supposed to be realised in white and pale blue. I'd absolutely wear a pale blue wedding dress but that's probably because blue is my favourite colour.
ReplyDeleteDisney dresses would be great for a women who is remarrying and has little girls. The little girls could get dressed up too!

I don't think I'd wear a blue dress for bridal...maybe they should do a white version.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely wear this dress. From looking at the sketch it will be gorgeous and the blue to me would only accent that. Plus it's definitely priced a lot lower than I would have thought.

The sketch looks very pretty, I suppose it depends on the shade of blue... I am done getting married though, found my prince charming the second time around, and we have been married for 8 years. We are going to go do a huge Disney World family vacation to celebrate our 10th anniversary, so maybe a blue Frozen dress would be perfect to renew our vows? :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't think I would but I am sure it is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt is quite pretty. I can't wait to see the finished product.
ReplyDeleteId wear a blue wedding dress. Ive never been married but I have a daughter. Id feel funny wearing a white dress since I have a kid. Im going to be 50 so if or when I get married Id definitely wear a blue dress. Frozen is such a good movie. Finding Nemo is one of my fave movies. Yes Nemo is found. Thanks for the post :)
ReplyDeleteI hope my niece gets over her Frozen frenzy before she is old enough to get married.

Cant get behind it as a 37 yr old bride but nice for a quinceanera or prom dress.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress, I wouldn't wear a blue wedding dress. My daughter loved Frozen.
ReplyDeleteI love it! That is a very beautiful dress!!!
ReplyDeleteMy personal taste it a little odd so while this is a pretty gown the connection to frozen just seems to childish for me.
ReplyDeleteFrozen on once upon a time I love it
ReplyDeleteI have two nieces who absolutely love Frozen, but I have yet to see it and understand the Frozen 'craze'! From the looks of the sketch, the dress looks pretty! If I had a wedding do over I might wear it! ;)
ReplyDeleteI have no kids and own both of the movies and love them lol
ReplyDeleteWouldn't get a dress inspired by frozen. . But I still love it lol
I would wear a Frozen wedding dress & I agree - I love the Cinderella dress too!!
